Treasure Hunt – Mon 14 Sep 2026

On a warm dry Monday evening in September members of the Company were joined by City Consorts and seven teams set out to solve clues set by Kimball Bailey, that led them around to City to find their way to a secret supper venue.

For some it was a race, but for others, a lovely chance to chat and amble gently through the emptying City. Kimball, Chair of the City Consorts Events Committee, aided by our Upper Warden, Carol Law put us into teams and we set forth. Occasionally we bumped into another team but everyone's route was slightly different so we couldn’t just follow each other!.

It was great fun as we spotted and discovered things we had previously walked straight past. The supper venue was a delightful City watering hole which certainly serves delicious chips and a great finger buffet selection and, importantly, a glass of well-earned wine.

The Master's and Immediate Past Master's teams were pipped into equal second place behind an intrepid team of "Londoners". Well done to all but especially Carol Law and Kimball Bailey for a lovely evening.
