Microbiome and Gut Health Festival – 23 – 25 Sep 2025

The Worshipful Company of Nurses was invited to have a stand at the ‘Your Microbiome and Gut Health’ festival hosted by Global Healthcare Projects. Activities included presentations about microbiome, the gut and how to have a healthy gut. The major attraction was a huge inflatable walk through gut from the mouth to the rectum.

The Master, Hilary Andrews, and eight volunteers manned the stand over the two days. We talked about the nursing profession and how general health aids gut health. The audience was wide and varied including young professionals, people from overseas and a small group of school children.

On the opening day The Master, along with other charity representatives, was presented to HRH The Princess Royal.
