Lord Mayor’s Show – Sat 9 Nov 2024

The Lord Mayor’s Show is the oldest, longest, best loved and least-rehearsed civic procession in the world. The 696th Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Alastair King took office in the Silent Ceremony on Friday 8 November, and the Lord Mayor’s Show conveyed him to Westminster to swear loyalty to the Crown. The Master, Upper Warden and Freeman Bradley Pack walked in this year’s Lord Mayor’s Show representing the Worshipful Company of Nurses with the Modern Livery Companies. The BBC coverage of this year’s show is available on BBC iPlayer.
