We are delighted to have received an update here from Mariana Campilho,  a Company of Nurses Scholar working with London Air Ambulance.

With scholarship funding provided by the Company of Nurses, Mariana joined the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) Masters Programme in Prehospital Medicine. Over the last 2 years she has developed new knowledge and skills associated with the prehospital setting.

Her report gives a fascinating and enlightening account of the training and education program, including how she has been able to put her knowledge and skills into practice. She is engaged in the training and education of other nurses, and thus able to share with them her knowledge, training and experience.

Her report clearly demonstrates how patients have received excellent care and how the wider workforce has benefitted. Mariana has completed her course and is now focusing on her dissertation. She is committed to further developing her skills and knowledge.

The article also details the charity activities of the London Air Ambulance and celebrates the continuing partnership with the Company of Nurses.
