Livery Careers Showcase – 3 – 4 Feb 2025

The Worshipful Company of Nurses hosted a stand at the Careers Event to showcase nursing as a career.  Over the two days many primary and secondary school students attended, spending time on our stand which provided opportunities to speak to us about all things nursing. The students engaged in various activities including learning about the human body, resuscitation techniques and use of equipment to monitor heart rate and oxygen.  Our volunteers represented a broad range of professional backgrounds and experience including hospitals, community, prisons and mental health.  Feedback on the day from students and teachers indicated not only did they enjoy the activities on display, but they also felt it was very informative.
