Friends of the Worshipful Company of Nurses
We invite you to become a Friend of the Worshipful Company of Nurses
In 2016 a group of enterprising nurses started laying the foundations to become a Livery Company, and thus enabling the profession to take its place alongside the many noble professions already represented within the Livery movement of the City of London.
As with most modern Livery Companies, we are entirely profession based and admission to the Freedom of the Company is limited to those whose names are or have been entered on the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register, or equivalent regulatory body. However, this doesn’t prevent others from supporting the Company.
By becoming a Friend, whether as an individual, business or 3rd sector organisation, and supporting our endeavours, you will be helping us promote the nursing profession and its values in perpetuity.
As a Friend, you will be able to apply for tickets to our open events and will receive our regular newsletters, so that you can keep in touch with our progress.
