Gwin Foley – Freedom of the City of London
The Guild of Nurses is delighted that one of the Foundation Freemen received the Freedom of the City of London on International Women’s Day 8th March 2019.
Major (Retd) Guinevere Foley TD qualified with Princess Mary’s RAF Nursing Service and served in Germany. Joining the NHS Guinevere worked at various London Teaching Hospitals whilst also serving with the Territorial Army, finally retiring from King’s College Hospital.
She made her declaration as a Foundation Freeman of The Guild of Nurses on 15th March 2017
