Freedom and Livery Ceremonies – Wed 15 July 2026

Freedom and Livery Ceremonies of the Worshipful Company of Nurses were held on Wednesday 15 July 2026 at Information Technologists’ Hall. Three apprentices were admitted to the Company, and nine members made their declarations as Freemen. Seven Freemen were clothed in Livery. Congratulations and welcome to our newest Apprentices, Freemen and Liverymen.

It was a wonderful occasion to see so many new members and Freemen who have taken the next step to show their support for the Company and the nursing profession to become Liverymen. After the formal, ceremonial part of the day, an enjoyable afternoon tea was held, where new members and old, families, supporters and guests came together aptly demonstrating the spirit of community that defines the Company.

Apprentices, Freemen and Liverymen of the Company will be able to view the photographs of the event in the “Gallery” in the members log in section of the website.
