Freedom and Livery Ceremonies – 24 Mar 2026

A Freedom and Livery ceremony of the Worshipful Company of Nurses was held at Guildhall Tuesday 24 March. Ten applicants were admitted to the Freedom of the Company, and eight Freemen made their declarations and were clothed in Livery. Congratulations and welcome to our newest Freemen and Liverymen. It was a pleasure to also welcome the Master of the Worshipful Company of Educators.

It was a wonderful occasion to see so many new members and Freemen who have taken the next step to show their support for the Company and the nursing profession to become Liverymen. After the formal, ceremonial part of the evening, an enjoyable and lively supper was held where new members and old, families, supporters and guests came together aptly demonstrating the spirit of community that defines the Company.

Freemen and Liverymen of the Company will be able to view the photographs of the event in the “Gallery” in the members log in section of the website.
