Education and Professional Development Event March 16th 2017

The March 2017 Lecture took place at London South Bank University.

The focus of the lectures , of which there were two, addressed a diverse exploration of the impact that work can have on individuals. Colonel David Bates explored the issues of resilience and capability in service leadership. He demonstrated the focus of his specialist work and his leadership of the principles of service and distributed leadership. Associate Professor Anne Harriss then took the audience through a fascinating glimpse of the impact of work on health. As an Occupational Nurse she was able to reveal the often, unexpected and unanticipated consequences of work hazards on health.

The evening was interesting from a number of perspectives. For Freemen of the Guild, the slide presentations are available on the Members only section of the website.
