Company Dinner, Grocers’ Hall – Thu 20 Nov 2025
The Company Dinner was held on Thursday 20 November in the beautiful surroundings of Grocers’ Hall. Guests of the Company were welcomed by Court Assistant Carol Law and these included Nicki Auret, Immediate Past Master of the Company of Human Resource Professionals and David Clifford, also from the HR Professionals. Colonel Kevin Forbes, Commanding Officer of 306 Hospital Support Regiment was also welcomed as a guest of the Company.
Lt Colonel Robin McMahon was awarded the Worshipful Company of Nurses Military Trophy, and a framed certificate in recognition of his commitment to nursing, his Regiment and to the wider military community.
The principal guest was Sheriff and Deputy Keith Bottomley along with his husband Kevin Bradford. Keith enlightened guests by informing them of the centuries of tradition behind the office of Sheriff and reminded us that the role includes supporting the rule of law, supporting the Lady Mayor and being a promotor of the City’s industries.
As is our tradition, we passed the Lamp after dinner, symbolising the unity and friendship among us. The evening was a great success.
