The Company of Nurses Charitable Trust exists to promote the nursing profession for nurses past, present, and future. Not only is the Trust here to offer financial support when things go wrong, but it also contributes to the professional development of nurses today and tomorrow through the award of scholarships, bursaries and prizes. The aim is to support nurses so they can contribute to raising standards of nursing care, encourage health and wellbeing, and ultimately, support the lives of those in their care.
Providing vital support through sound financial management
We are an inclusive and diverse group of like-minded nurses, from all backgrounds and specialties and we enjoy fellowship, networking and learning together.
And as you would expect, as nurses – we give our time and resources to support our fellows.
When organisations and benefactors entrust us with their funds, we offer a safe repository for their monies and make sure they are used as was originally intended.
The Trustees are all trained nurses and the Board is supported by experienced investment managers – together, they make sure the Trust is on a firm financial footing, maximising potential within an ethical portfolio.
