Cavell Annual Event for Supporters at the House of Lords – Thu 24 Sep 2026

Both the Worshipful Company of Nurses and the Company’s Charitable Trust were represented on Thursday 24 September at Cavell’s annual event for supporters at the House of Lords. The Master, Chair of the Company of Nurses Charitable Trust and Lizzie Clarke, Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees attended. This was Cavell’s annual event where the impact of their work is celebrated. The Company has been a partner in Cavell’s 'Working with...' programme for many years through which the Charitable Trust is able to provide much needed support for nurses.

During the afternoon Cavell announced their exciting new three year strategy and we heard a very moving story from a nurse who had been supported by Cavell. Their message was clear “Caring for the people who care for us”.
