Annual Church Service

The Annual Service was held at St Bartholomew the Less, within the grounds of St Barts Hospital on Wednesday 14 October 2025.

The service was led by the Honorary Chaplain, the Rev’d Canon Charles Pickstone. The organist was Andrew Storey. The readers were Immediate Past Master, Jane Carey-Harris and Liveryman, Penny Chafer. Freeman and Queens Nurse, Mr Rohit Sagoo's reading was on the concept of Sewa (selfless service) in the Sikh community and a copy is here. The sermon was delivered by Dr Swee Chai Ang, FRCS.

The Master, Hilary Andrews, Wardens and members of the Company greeted guests from the Queens Institute of Community Nursing, The College of Reproductive and Sexual Health and Trustees from the Company of Nurses Charitable Trust.

The Annual Service is a time to remember our benefactors and those members who have sadly died this year. The service also gives an opportunity for those nurses present to rededicate themselves to the nursing profession.
